Seed Product Guarantee

Patten Seed Company guarantees to the extent of the purchase price excluding shipping costs that the purity and germination of our seeds are as described on the label affixed to each product container or bag, within recognized tolerances.  We do not guarantee performance or suitability, and make no other warranty, express or implied.

Seed Product Return Policy

Before buying or planting see guarantee above.  If this guarantee is unacceptable, the unopened bag may be returned within 20 days for purchase price refund.  Under seed laws of several states arbitration is required as a prerequisite to maintaining a legal action against the seller of the seed in any dispute relating to the quality or performance of the seed sold.  The purchaser shall file a complaint along with the required filling fee (where applicable) to the Commissioner or Chief Agricultural Officer within such time as to permit inspection of the crops, plants or trees by the designated agency and the seedman from whom the seed was purchased.  A copy of the complaint shall be sent to the seller by certified or registered mail or as otherwise provided by state statute.
